Birthday Wish (poem a day challenge 11/22/15)

If I had a magic wand on your birthday I would bring

All the gifts of your heart 

a birthday song I would sing

I would wish you playfulness, serenity and so much joy 

I would wish you innocence and laughter, like when you were a boy

I'd wish for stress to fall away and peace of mind to fill that space

I'd wish for perfect health and for you to slow your pace

I'd wish the busyness of your mind to filter through your heart

I'd wish for you a balanced life in which work, love and play have their part

I'd wish for you a gentle breeze to cool you when you feel warm

And that the memories of being hurt and betrayed no longer cause you harm

I'd wish for you a winning team and all your needs met 

I'd wish for you a winning hand anytime you make a bet. 

I'd wish for you to think the best of yourself and all those around

I wish for you trust and acceptance and that you are never again let down

I'd wish for you a day on the water, a balloon ride and a new car

But mostly I'd wish you an abundant life no matter where you are. 

If I had a magic wand I'd wish you this and so much more

You are a gift to the world this year I hope you explore

All the lightness and wonder that is here for you

It can be expand by a "Yes" to the universe it's true
