Frozen

I was frozen when I heard the news
Shooting
Another shooting
I was a walking on the vegas strip.
Details being sorted out in real time.
As more info was gained the tally went from a single shooting to 58 dead and hundreds wounded.
I was frozen
Frozen in disbelief.
Frozen by the denial of those who held on tighter to their guns.
I pray that it doesn’t take someone you love dying before you understand why change is needed.  
Frozen by the desensitized population: 
Guns in every movie, video game, poster and tv show. 
We can not remain frozen.
Money is not the root of evil. The LOVE of money is. We see this EVIL in our policy. 
We need to care more about human life then we do about money.
